Introduction to IFEPA

The IFEPA Fairs and Exhibitions Centre of the Region of Murcia, ( the Palacio de Ferias y Exposiciones Región de Murcia IFEPA) has become one of the most important commercial reunion points for business professionals in South-eastern Spain during its 25 year history.

The progressive incorporation of new fairs, exhibitions and salons has made IFEPA a focal core of business activity for the agricultural and industrial activity which takes place in Murcia.

It strategic location in the centre of the region, in the middle of the Murcia-Cartagena axis and close to San Javier Airport, in the zone with maximum demographic concentration and in the heart of the major tourist belt around the Mar Menor, guarantees a high attendance level at all the events it hosts.

 The IFEPA Exhibitions Centre hosts a number of annual events at national level in collaboration with various bodies, associations and organisms across a variety of sectors, as well as hosting other cultural, sporting and community activities.

Installations, services and facilities



IFEPA has a number of other halls and salons available which can host meetings and technical presentations:

A conference hall (Salón de Actos) on the ground floor with capacity for 400 people.

A meeting room on the first floor for 130 people, linked to a VIP room with a capacity for 200 people, which has its own catering cafeteria inside.

A car park with a capacity for 2000 vehicles

IFEPA also offers the option to rent the entire exhibition centre or individual pavilions for privately run events and occasions

IFEPA also has an innovative modular design with auxiliary installations ( restaurant, self service, 2 cafeterias, cashpoint, hotel reservations service, stand construction facility and service.

Installations

IFEPA has a total ground area of 57.098,16 m2, with four covered pavilions, of 22.326,97 m2 and one external area of 2.300 m2, making it the major exhibition centre for the Region of Murcia.

Five large sectors:

Sector A is spread across two floors and hosts the offices and services zone.

Sectors B, C, D hold the stands and host the various fairs and events which take place in the centre. These sectors are interlinked, so the full surface area of the exhibition centre can be viewed in its entirety.

In the external sector various activities can be undertaken or further expositive stands hosted.

Parking Zone

Following recent remodelling works, IFEPA has various parking zones and facilities for the convenience of both visitors and exhibitors, with a capacity to hold 1450 vehicles. Parking Zone A has a surface area of 20.242,05m2, with a capacity of 1000 vehicles. Parking area B has a surface area of 9.238,86m2 for 350 vehícles. The VIP parking area has an area of 2.990,28m2 for 100 vehicles
