The town of Jumilla is in the North of the Region of Murcia, and is an atmospheric town, surrounded by vineyards. There are still some wineries within the town centre, such as Bodegas Silvano Garcia and Bodegas Pedro Luis Martínez, which are among the most traditional wineries in Jumilla, and others have moved to the outskirts.

These are now located in chàteauesque buildings, surrounded by vineyards, set in the countryside outside of town.
