Friday 15th June Mazarron bowlers played away to Vistabella B team on their continuing mission in the Summer SABA League. It has been a bit of a roller coaster ride for the Mazarron team, their weekly match results have seen them move up & down the league table without giving away any predictable future outcome. With only 3 more matches to play could Mazarron win this week and improve on their 5th place position after last weeks disappointing result.
The weather was it's usual self, disregarding all the mad dogs and bowlers but with true grit and defiance the players sweltered on resulting in Mazarron winning 4 games to 2 with a very narrow shot margin of 103 to 101.
With this weeks win Mazarron now go into a more attractive 2nd position in the league but unfortunately even with 2 more matches to play the top team "Vistabella A" are untouchable.
Mazarron will continue in their quest to remain in 2nd position on Fri 22nd June at home against San Luis "Mosquitoes".
Mazarron Bowls Club held a Trophy Tournament in May sponsored by "Blacktower Financial". A great day was had by all and organised to perfection once again by Jim Tarrant (Comp Secretary).
