GOmaD Mazarrón, Supermarket food collection drive

GOmaD are appealing for unwanted kitchens and helpers.

Date for your diary: Friday 21st September, Fashion show.

Are You A MAD Friend ?   
Due to the continual increase of Help needed, we have asked local Supermarkets to partner with us by holding FOOD collection boxes - ´Quicksave´ on Camposol B & ´Upper´, Mazarron Square, have so far both agreed. When shopping Would you be a MAD Friend & purchase an extra tin, packet or jar of Food stuff, or basic toiletries & drop-off at either of these Supermarkets or any of our recognised drop-off points.

Kitchen Needed. We have two large families moving into new Council accommodation with NOT one kitchen cupboard or even a kitchen sink!!  Are you installing a new kitchen & not sure what to do with your old one, then call us today & together we can help Make someone a HOME.  
 
How long could you live without Water or Electricity a few hours, days or months ?  Many of GOmaD clients do as they cannot cover these basic bills! Consider this during the Hot Summer Months: NO fresh water, NO fridge, fans or air-conditioning to keep you & your food cool & fresh!  

On Friday 21st September at 4pm – GOmaD is holding its second Fashion Show at ´Mariano´s Restaurant´ Camposol A. Tickets are 1.00euro. Do join us in supporting our Wonderful Models, plus an exclusive opportunity to purchase selective items of clothing that have been specifically chosen or donated.          

During August our Mazarron Shop will open on
                                                                  Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays  9am – 1pm only.                  

Volunteers Needed to fill specific roles – maybe you have useful talents i.e Fundraiser, Photographer, Administrator, Public Relations Office or Co-ordinator for one of our many GOmaD activities - call us today if you think you can help.  

Saturday 13th October - ´MAD Night of Fun & Entertainment´ with Barrington.  Further details to follow but pencil in the date now!.
