Win a brand new Citroen car on the 25th August at Condado de Alhama

Help us to Help you is a new medical scheme which residents of the Condado de Alhama are trying to initiate on the urbanisation. The scheme will be similar to the FAST scheme on Camposol, which has proved a great success, using trained volunteers to act as a fast response team within the urbanisation.

This gives a fast reaction support mechanism for both residents and holidaymakers, meaning instant help is at hand for anyone who needs it. Whilst the aim is not to provide in depth medical help, it is invaluable in helping to treat the effects of shock, stem bleeding and be a calming help to guide in ambulances, and assist english speaking residents both before and when Spanish medical personnel arrive.

It is hoped that  with the aid of home owners and holiday makers on Condado, along with any sponsorship and donations which can be obtained, to have the medical scheme up and running by Easter 2013.

There have been a few incidents already in a short space of time where this service would have been beneficial. You never know when you might need the calm and professionalism the volunteers will bring you.

Our aim is to have a 24/7 365 days a year , fully trained medical volunteers who will be there to guide you and help you in anyway they can should you need medical assistance, all volunteers will live on Condado so their response time to you is minutes, those precious first moments can sometimes save lives.

We are raffling a Brand New Citroen car on the 25th August 2012 . The remainder of the funds after purchasing the car will all go towards training and equipment.

The tickets can be purchased at The Clover , The Condado Club by the tennis Courts , The offices of Millennium, and the Bulgarian restaurant have kindly offered to help sell tickets.
The tickets are 10 euros each.

We cannot stress how important we believe this scheme is and we need any help anyone is willing to donate either to train or to help sell our tickets. Or more importantly by buying a ticket.
