The drama group, "Cloud Nine Drama" has presented a cheque for 150 euros to the Asociación de Mayores Dependientes de Bullas (AMADE), money raised by their recent theatrical performance held in the Casa de Cultura on the 16th March.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the ex-pat amateur theatrical group has made a presentation to the non-profit making association, which is dedicated to caring for elderly dependents.
The President of AMADE, Carmen Guirado, thanked "Cloud Nine Drama" for their gesture of solidarity and support, saying that this money would enable the organisation "to buy some new uniforms and do something special for their elderly charges to ensure that they remembered the group and their generous contribution."
Cloud 9 comprises ex-pats from around the region, and is always looking for new members. The recent production of an adaptation of the novel Wyrd Sisters, by Terry Pratchett was performed in both Bullas, where the group was founded, as well as in the Alhama Municipality at the La Molata Social Centre, enabling residents from the Mazarrón area to also enjoy the performance.
