Wine Tapas Route to 19th March

Bullas is presenting its D.O. Bullas for 2011 and has organised a cycle of activities focusing on the production of wine, specifically Bullas wine. The cycle has at its core a Tapas Route which is taking place over the weekends up until the middle of March in which 14 local bars and restaurants are participating, offering wine and tapas for only 2.50 euros. Passports for the route are available from the tourist office in Bullas and participating bars and restaurants.

Suppers in local restaurants featuring specific Bodega

Another feature of the celebrations are suppers celebrated in local restaurants, priced at 25 euros and including wines from a specific Bodega. At each of the suppers, a master from the Bodega will be present to give a presentation about the wines being sampled. These suppers are 25 euros each, but if 3 or more are booked, then the price falls to 20 euros, so if you live locally it´s a good way of not only finding new restaurants, but also tasting a variety of wines.

Day visits, including lunch, visit to Wine Museum and Wine tastings

Another interesting feature of this are the weekend day visits, which include a visit to the wine museum, visit to vineyards, Bodega and wine tasting , followed by lunch in a restaurant and a visit to the other wine museum in Bullas, priced at just 25 euros a head, excellent value and a good way to spend a day discovering more about Bullas and its wine traditions.

There are also activities for children at the wine museum and other cultural events at the Museum, including tastings, a concert and exhibitions.

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE IN SPANISH, so be warned, although there are often people around with some english.

10:30 h. VinArte Infantil: "Naturaleza y Vino". Planting of pine trees in the area of the sports pavilion  Juan Valera and subsequent symbolic planting in the zone of  "La Almazara". Followed by tasting of  mosto.
