XI Concentración de Aeromodelistas "Los Halcones de Torre Pacheco."
This is an event being held by the Aeromodelling Club "Los Halcones" of Torre Pacheco, and whilst the core activity of night-time flying of their model aircraft and helicopters is a club activity, there is also an open day on the Sunday to which other clubs and anybody who would like to come along and watch the planes is invited to come along to.
The club has been running since 1994 and has over 75 members with an impressive selection of large model aircraft and helicopters between them and each year hold this event as a celebration of the founding of their club.
On the saturday evening, club members camp over at the flying ground and enjoy an evening of night flying, before the open day on the Sunday.
The event is taking place in the flying fields of the Club de Aeromodelismo Los Halcones, which is situated along the road between Torre Pacheco and El Jimenado at km 4 in the Rambla finca lo pollo . On the google map, it's clear that the road runs alongside the rambla, but doesn´t show where km4 is, although looking at the satellite map it looks as though there is an airfield to the right between Jimenado and La herencia. There is a 
tarmacked road on the right heading towards the warehouses of "Pepillos trunking " which is signposted at the entrance to the road. Carry on 1km along the road and you´ll arrive at the flying field.
It is clearly signposted from the road, so if you´re on the main road it can be found quite easily.
It's best to come along in the morning on Sunday before they break for lunch.
Click for google map for Jimenado. Make sure you´re on satellite and what looks like a patch of light brown is probably the flying field.
